- Read: Kidogo by Anik McGrory
- Explore–Discuss:
- Who helped Kidogo learn and what did he learn from his aunts [reaching tender acacia leaves], his cousins [crossing a flooding river], and his mom [taking a dust bath]?
- Who did Kidogo help? [the ants]
- What did he learn? [to accept himself]
02. Intergenerational Generosity Memory - 30 MIN
- Highlight: Just like elephants have great memories, so do humans!
- Explain: Take time to respond to the questions in the handout about a memory of learning generosity from a grandparent or a parent. This memory will help you to write a children’s book about this moment in a future class.
